After trying on forty something dresses at stores in Burlington, VT and Pittsburgh, PA, I came across A Trace of Lace in a google search. I went into Trace of Lace expecting another dead end, but what I found was excellent customer service, a beautiful shop, and dresses I hadn't seen in other stores. Elaine is so caring and thoughtful. She wanted to make sure that the dress that I picked out truly made me feel special. I was never rushed or pushed into anything and that was very important to me. I found my dress and couldn't be happier! I would recommend going to Trace of Lace first. No other store can compare to the experience that you will get here.

A Trace of Lace is the Best bridal boutique out there! I started my dress hunt here and Jamie and Elaine spent hours with me and my crew. Although they had a wide selection of amazing gowns with prices ranging from $150 - $2300 I had a specific dress in mind & drove all around Vermont and New York looking for this perfect dress at... other shops. No other shop treated me as well as A Trace of Lace. I finally found my dress and went back to the place with the best staff and atmosphere to buy it. Jamie ordered my dress for me and referred me to an amazing seamstress. It was absolutely perfect!! I Love my dress! I also ended up getting fabulous bridesmaids dresses there, which my girls say are the best bridesmaid dresses they have ever worn because they all plan to have them shortened to wear them again :) My mom also got her dress at A Trace of Lace and she looked absolutely beautiful! I was so impressed with Jamie that I hired her husband Shawn as my photographer, and Jamie to assist in the bustle of my dress and help make my weddingday perfect. They are amazing people and felt like family. My pictures are beautiful! I couldn't be any happier with the services they provided. Thank you so much. Overall A Trace of Lace is amazing. I went to this store for my first experience to try on dresses and found a couple i loved! I looked at a couple other places but they could not compare to A Trace of Lace. Everyone here was so amazingly friendly and they have so much variety and it fits everyones budget! I actually bought a dress that I would have never even thought to try on! Seriously, just go to A Trace of Lace and find the dress you love! We stopped in on a whim, figuring we'd probably have to do our shopping at home in DC. We stopped in and got a friendly greeting from the owner's mom, who set us to work hunting, gave me great ideas on trying several styles (it was my first time looking), ...and made sure we were taken care of. I fell in love with my dress on day 1. Ordering from DC could've been miserable, but Jamie (the owner) made it so easy. They have a storage area and are more than happy to store dresses as needed. They also gave recommendations for seamstresses that they swear by (the one they directed us to was great!), and their prices are way below Boston or DC! Don't let the small town Vermont location fool you, get into A Trace of Lace!

I just bought my dream dress from A Trace of Lace and was so pleased by the level of service that was provided! It was such a relaxing and wonderful environment, not pushy or overbearing, very helpful with all aspects of picking the dress! Very accomodating to all needs. Jamie and her mom were so helpful. I would have never tried my wedding dress on if it hadn't been for Elaine. I promissed myself that I wasn't going to be that bride that worried that I bought the wrong dress. Once my dress came in, I was second guessing my decision. Jamie and Elaine had me try on my dress again. They showed me how with alterations, the dress would fit just like the sample. I'm so happy with my choice. I have been to other dress shops with friends. They do not compare to A Trace of Lace. I wasn't made to feel like I was just another bride. The store is beautiful. Jamie really thinks of everything.

My daughter and I shopped at your boutique in late January for a Winter Formal dress for her school dance. We are from PA but were in the area skiing and I promised her a dress shopping day. We went to the local mall and found nothing. One of the girls that worked in the food court told us about your store so we ran over to check it out. I really didn't think we would find anything suitable in a decent price range, but I was so impressed with your store that we took the time to look around anyway. Your Mom was in the store alone that day, I think there was a bridal show in the area and you had to be there. She was so sweet and helpful ! It was a great experience for my daughter and we found an adorable dress, too.

I had been to many other well-known stores in VT before finding A Trace of Lace. Although there were bridal stores close by, Jamie's helpfulness made the longer trip to her store worth while! I did not feel pressured at all to buy a gown, but they were able to find my perfect dress. I cannot say enough about how great the service is and how comfortable they will make you feel when you are in there.

Although I bought and had alterations done with a bridal shop near my home (in VA), I needed my dress re-steamed before the big day. This shop was wonderful to deal with, and only charged me $10 to steam my dress and hold it until the wedding. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone in the VT area.

We found a Trace of Lace Boutique on The Knot. We decided to take our friend, the bride to be, dress shopping this morning! We were debating between Rutland (Trace of Lace) or Burlington (David's Bridal). We are ALL SO happy we chose to go to Trace of Lace Boutique.
